All of the masters degrees offered at CSBS can be earned through SeminaryLink. Students can complete the Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree by taking the maximum allowable number of its courses (two-thirds) through online delivery in the fall and spring semesters. In each course, an on-line learning community is formed through threaded discussions, chat-rooms, collaborative online student group projects, weekly faculty monitoring of responses, the provision of online chapels with streamed audio, and student advising that helps the students feel part of the CSBS family.

The balance of the MDiv requirements is achieved during one-week intensive courses offered on campus in January and May/June. These courses provide not only one-third of this degree but also make possible on-campus opportunities to meet with classmates face to face. The 92 credit-hour Master of Divinity degree can be completed by distance in four years.

The 60 credit-hour Master of Christian Ministry (MCM) can also be earned by completing two-thirds of the courses online and one-third through on-campus intensive courses. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they meet the residency requirement for both the MDiv and MCMin degree programs.

The 48 credit-hour Master of Biblical Studies (MBS) and Master of Christian Studies (MCS) degree can be earned fully online. The delivery of the online courses is the same as for the MDiv and the MCMin. Students learn in a virtual community and have direct access to faculty and staff at the Cochrane campus. Likewise, these degrees can be completed in four years of study from anywhere in the world.

Remote student courses allow for students to participate in live, on-campus courses via the internet without actually being physically in the classroom. Remote students must have access to stable high speed internet as well as a webcam and microphone, because they will be expected to participate in the course just like students in the physical classroom. Select courses are offered each semester.
